Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American producer and actress who has been recognized for her high-quality performance in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The movie Piano has won several awards for her including an Oscar. Her career in acting started on Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway and Off Broadway projects. It has always been her love of life. In fifth grade, she played Helen Keller in an original show. Following a bout of mumps, she became deaf in one of the sides of her ear. But, it did not stop her ambition to be an actress. In her early years, she took classes in drama at college and moved into New York City from Pittsburgh to pursue her ambitions. Hunter was stuck in the lift of playwright Beth Henley when she met her. Together they created Broadway Crimes of the Heart in which Hunter made her Broadway debut. After that, she moved from New York to Los Angeles and tried to get film roles. In Swing Shift, she landed an appearance as a supporting character. In the last three decades Holly Hunter has been on numerous TV shows and films. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
